BTW to go to a college to major in ASL do you need 3 high...

Singsaaavy and ASLpro's signs have often been corrected by my Deaf friends and Deaf instructors, they are either old or english or just not used in that area. That is not to say they are all wrong, but I generally don't trust them. The best way to learn is through a class/event hosted by a Deaf teacher or...

Anonymous asked: I agree with all of your posts about ASL students, but there is one post I do not understand. Why does "linguistics" strike fear into an ASL student? This may be a stupid question but I simply do not understand.

lilcastlesweets asked: I'm not an ASL student but i'm finally attempting to teach myself ASL (i've wanted to learn since I was a kid but never got the chance/opportunity to learn.) I'd like to practice more then signing whatever I do know to myself, but i don't know anybody that knows ASL nor are there any groups like that at school. Any advice?

Anonymous asked: Hi :) I'm trying to learn the ASL signs instead of mostly english signs. Do you know of a site that shows this? I'm kinda new and I wanted to make sure I'm learning proper signs.

falcor-the-luck-dragon asked: Just stumbled onto this blog! I am an education major now and when I transfer I will be a special education teacher, so ASL is very important! I just started my first ASL class this semester and signed up for ASL club and hoping to get on the committee. This is wonderful!
